Johnny received his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy 


Johnny started his practice as a travelling Physical Therapist to get as much experience in a variety of clinical settings. While being assigned in East Texas he had an opportunity to become the Director of Physical Therapy for In- and Outpatient Services at the Baylor Medical Center in Gilmer.

After Baylor closed down its satellite hospital, Johnny moved to San Antonio and became the Assistant Director of Outpatient Services at St. Luke’s Lutheran Hospital located in the South Texas Medical Center. While over there, he gave presentations at the annual St. Luke’s Sports Medicine Symposium and was a guest lecturer at the University of Texas Medical School S.A.

Mr. Lee was then hired by Santa Rosa Hospital to open up its Out-Patient clinic and supervise the comprehensive and multi-disciplinary Adult Rehabilitation Services for Physical-, Occupational- and Speech Therapy.

In 1998 he was recruited by Park Plaza Hospital in Houston’s Medical Center to become the Director of Rehabilitation.

In 2000 he went into private practice, working together with several Physician Associations such as Spine Care P.A., Diagnostic Pain Management & Rehabilitation Center, Anesthesiology & Pain Intervention PA, Fort Bend Neurology in Sugarland, Occupational Rehabilitation Services in Katy.

In that period he also contracted with the V.A. Hospital, performing Functional Capacity Evaluation testing for disabled veterans to have them retrained into other job /work environments.

Today he continues practicing in his area of specialty which is Out-Patient care, currently here at Texas Orthopedic and Physical Therapy Institute.
